I Never Dreamed I’d Make It
Hello to all the first timers who are visiting my site, if you aren’t, you are now. Well, you seem to have found me. First off, hey, if you don’t always want to view the site, Wordpress has a nifty feature that allows my posts to be in a RSS Feed, so you can subscribe at the bottom of the page. Time to begin.
All that has happened in the past week has always just been a fantasy. I’m finally living my dream. I used to wonder for hours how my website would look. Well… there would be a little clock widget at the top, a clock counting down to large events like the ending of school or holidays, and of course, a nice blog for me to post all of my great stories to keep you informed (well, so far I’ve been able to have one of those). But, I just always thought that it would be a dream. Never did I think that I would be able to actually do the beautiful web design that some such as Matt Mullenweg (ma.tt), who uses and helps code Wordpress. Maybe I still can’t live up to what hey does, but I still have beauty within simplicity. Never did I suspect I would able have my own little spot on the web, even if I would have to pay an extra $10 a month to actually post my own code for my regular website (Which I haven’t done yet. Maybe I should switch from this host… 1&1…). So, before I go on, I just want to take the time to say thank you to everyone who was able to help in some way either with helping me code my yet-to-be-seen website, or my blog. The list would be too long, so it would be better if I would just thank them all personally. Anyway, time to talk.
So, a lot has happened. Much has happened with my website and coding, but I wanted to come up with something else to say. This whole experience is so mind blowing, so I don’t really have time to do much yet. I’m really hoping that I’ll be able to update every day, but for now I’ll have to squeeze in posts one by one. Aside from that, I thought to keep you coming, I’d give you a taste of what’s coming up. Here are the topics (These aren’t in any order, they’ll just be sprinkled around. Oh, and some with be series, since they are just so important.);
#1 Synesthesia - I did a whole science fair project (A boring, large project every student is forced to do, though I made mine interesting. Oh, and great, it involves science… Yay?) on this. I don’t want to give anything away, because I worked really hard on it, but if you can’t wait, check out http://wikipedia.com/synesthesia/ for a little extra. All I can say is that it’s a Neurological phenomenon.
#2 My School Life - How things are going at the place I spend over 1/4 of my life at, or about 1,260 hours a year at. Some juicy gossip (Ohmigosh!) and stuff going on with me. Don’t expect me to say I’m going on any dates with any hot babes yet, though I can hope.
#3 Random - I can’t really think of anything else, so the rest is random for now.
Only three tastes, this must have been an expensive meal. Thanks to you for reading, and remember… I’ll later I’ll come up with a catchphrase…

Yeah, though you would have to do it through me. It’s a private blog, so I can only create accounts. I used Wordpress, at wordpress.org, but that’s way to complicated, you should check out www.wordpress.com, by the same people, just allowing you to have a subdomain through them. You don’t have to install anything, I never had to. The software was just a one click process for me, since this option to have a Wordpress blog that was already installed, it came with the hosting I got. Wordpress is great if you want to start blogging.

Gaudyspudz,
Hold the stories on the unibrow destruction — some things are best left unblogged. Otherwise, its a good start.

Keep on blogging. I like the style. Write about what you like and don’t worry too much about the preferences of others.

Teachers getting students to blog sounds like an interesting idea. Would there be any teachers receptive to the idea at your school? Maybe you could think of a receptive one or two and ask them to read your blog for starters. Probably many of them are not familiar with blogging as a creative forum and once they learn about it, could be receptive. Just a thought.
